Weigh exactly 300 mg Sulfanilamid, dissolved in 20 ml of NaOH 2% in iodine flash. Add 80 ml of Glacial Acetic Acid + 3 grams KBr + 2 ml HCl saturated. Immediately add the Methyl Red Indicator. Titration carried out with 0.1 N KBrO3 until the red color changed to yellow solid solution. Titration declared complete when the yellow didn't changed after adding 1 drop of Methyl Red indicator.
Each ml of 0.1 N KBrO3 equivalent to 4.305 mg of C12H12N4O2S
Sulfanilamid content = ml KBrO3 X N KBrO3 X 4.305 : (mg Sample X 0.1) X 100 %
