Preparation of Potassium Permanganate 0.1 N
Dissolve 3.161 grams of KMnO4 ( Potassium Permanganate ) with enough water to 1000 ml. Heat the solution to boiling for 15-30 minutes. Cool at room temperature, then filtered using Glasswool or Gooch crucible, which was given filtering asbestos or glass splinters. Capacity in a brown bottle that has been rinsed with Acid Chromate, then save.
Note : If no Glasswool or Gooch crucible, the solution can be filtered using filter paper but must be stored before approximately 1 X 24 hours.
